Into the light (3 Months)
A VR (Virtual Reality) exploration game, made for Oculus Rift. This was the outcome of fifth semester project, being a part of a team of 14 people, we set to make an exploration game with puzzle elements and a fully diegetic interface, to be able to immerse the player as much as possible. My job in the pipeline was, as one of the lead artists, to make concept art, paint textures, fix broken UV maps when the 3D department had made too much over their heads and occasionally bake normal maps. The not yet released game called Rime, helped us getting inspired and narrow down the right style. In the end a simplistic choice in colorful environments, and less attention to detail was chosen. It was a really cool experience and hopefully the first of many!
